Your Situation
You're carrying a heavy worry about what's ahead — a decision, a diagnosis, a deadline, or just a general dread about what tomorrow holds.
What to know
The Quran doesn't dismiss fear as a lack of faith or tell you to simply stop feeling it — it directly promises something in return for God-consciousness in the middle of it: a way out, from a source you wouldn't expect.
What you can do
- Hold onto what's actually promised: not that nothing bad will happen, but that mindfulness of Allah opens a way out and provision from unexpected places (Surah At-Talaq 65:2-3).
- Remember Allah has already said He does not burden a soul beyond what it can bear (Surah Al-Baqarah 2:286) — facing this means it's within what you can carry, even on the days it doesn't feel that way.
- Say what believers said when told a real, gathering threat was coming for them: 'Hasbunallahu wa ni'mal wakeel' — Allah is sufficient for us, and He is the best disposer of affairs (Surah Al-Imran 3:173).
