The Quran describes Allah's closeness in terms stronger than physical company — not just present nearby, but aware of what you haven't even said out loud.
What you can do
- Sit with this verse: 'We are closer to him than his jugular vein' (Surah Qaf 50:16) — describing Allah's knowledge of you as nearer than your own pulse.
- Remember: 'He is with you wherever you are' (Surah Al-Hadid 57:4) — not a promise that people will always be around, but that you are never actually unaccompanied.
- Loneliness and worship aren't opposites — dhikr, dua, and prayer are all ways of turning toward Someone who's already turned toward you.
