You woke up after suhoor time ended, or forgot to eat it, and you're wondering if your fast still counts.
What to know
Suhoor (the pre-dawn meal) is a recommended sunnah, not a condition for your fast to be valid. The Prophet ﷺ encouraged it for the blessing in it — missing it doesn't take anything away from the fast itself.
What you can do
Simply continue your fast for the day as normal — nothing further is required.
Your intention (niyyah) to fast doesn't need to be spoken aloud; a general intention to fast the month, or intending before dawn, is enough even without a meal.
If oversleeping is a recurring issue, an earlier alarm or drinking water before bed can help for future days.
