Privacy Policy

Last updated: August 3, 2026

SabrTime ("we," "the app") is a free Islamic companion web app operated by an independent developer. This policy explains what information is collected when you use SabrTime at sabrtime.in, and how it's handled.

What Stays on Your Device

Most of your activity in SabrTime — prayer streaks, tasbeeh counts, saved duas, app preferences, and theme settings — is stored locally in your browser (localStorage), not on a remote server. This data never leaves your device unless you explicitly choose a feature that requires it to (such as sharing a dua on WhatsApp). Clearing your browser data or using private/incognito browsing will erase this local information.

Information We Collect

AI Features

If SabrTime offers an AI-based feature (such as an Islamic guidance chat), any questions you submit to that feature are sent to the underlying AI provider to generate a response. Avoid submitting sensitive personal information in these conversations. AI-generated answers on religious matters are a starting point for learning, not a substitute for a qualified scholar.

No Ads, No Data Selling

SabrTime does not run third-party advertising, does not use Facebook Pixel or Google Ads tracking, and does not sell user data to anyone. Where the app is supported financially, it's through voluntary donations and an optional Pro tier — never through advertising or data monetization.

Third-Party Services

SabrTime is hosted on GitHub Pages and may use Cloudflare for certain backend functions (such as payment verification). These providers may process technical data (like IP address) as part of standard web hosting, governed by their own privacy policies.

Children's Privacy

SabrTime is intended for general audiences and does not knowingly collect personal information from children. Core features require no account or personal information to use.

Your Choices

You can clear all locally stored data at any time by clearing your browser's site data for sabrtime.in, or by uninstalling the app if installed to your home screen. You can deny location access at any time through your browser or device settings — features that need it will simply prompt you again if used later.

Changes to This Policy

This policy may be updated as SabrTime adds new features. Material changes will be reflected with a new "last updated" date above.

Questions about this policy can be sent to sabrtime786@gmail.com, or see the full Contact page.

This policy describes SabrTime's actual data practices as of the date above but is not a substitute for legal advice. If SabrTime is submitted to an app store or targets users in a region with specific requirements (like GDPR in the EU or India's DPDP Act), consider having this reviewed by a professional familiar with those requirements.
